User talk:Now, Faster

Ooooo I got an email about rights changed. So you want my assistance here? Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 20:06, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

Yes, I would like some help here. Halle2920 (talk) 20:09, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

First, may I change the default wiki skin to be similar to Mariopedia's? Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 20:45, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

Sure :) Halle2920 (talk) 23:38, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

Changes

Okay, hopefully you like what I've done thus far. Do you want me to request a few things to Miraheze's Phabricator?

This would include the following:

• Change "animalcrossingwiki.miraheze.org" to "animalcrossing.miraheze.org".

And the following configurations to make the recent changes, watchlist, and default thumbnail size like Mariopedia's:

$wgDefaultUserOptions['usenewrc'] = 0; (equivalent of unchecking "Group changes by page in recent changes and watchlist" in Special:Preferences, under Recent changes)

$wgDefaultUserOptions['rcenhancedfilters-disable'] = 1; (equivalent of checking "Use non-JavaScript interface" in Special:Preferences, under Recent changes)

$wgDefaultUserOptions['thumbsize'] = 3;

$wgDefaultUserOptions['wlenhancedfilters-disable'] = 1;

Hey Eeyore, I think the original site is taken. I would suggest animalcrossingpedia.org Sailor3992 (talk) 20:23, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

What about the Phabricator requests above with wgDefaultUserOptions? Want me to request those? Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 20:26, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

Yes Sailor3992 (talk) 20:31, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

How about before we get custom domain, change this site to ac.miraheze.org? Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 20:31, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

Agree with ac. Not taken yet. Sailor3992 (talk) 20:32, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

Okay, I've filed both. Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 20:38, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

Okay thank you. Sailor3992 (talk) 20:45, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

You're welcome :) Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 20:58, April 16, 2025 (UTC)

Changes

Okay, the changes to the url and MediaWiki configurations have been done by Miraheze. Hope this helps! Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 11:05, April 20, 2025 (UTC)

Ok, Thank you! Sailor3992 (talk) 14:56, April 21, 2025 (UTC)

SkyWiki

Should be back now. I think they were just tinkering with Cloudflare configurations, since that's the only major change I've noticed ever since. Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 14:12, April 29, 2025 (UTC)

ok, thanks Sailor3992 (talk) 21:09, April 29, 2025 (UTC)

yw Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 00:28, April 30, 2025 (UTC)

They're under maintenance again. I got the XML backed up and part of the images, just for good measure.

Thankfully we have Miraheze. There's still SSB Universes Wiki in case you wanted to give that some attention. Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 00:30, April 30, 2025 (UTC)

Maybe they keep doing that. Sailor3992 (talk) 00:53, April 30, 2025 (UTC)

It got me on skywiki.org “We are currently undergoing unexpected maintenance; we apologize for the inconvenience.” Sailor3992 (talk) 23:20, April 30, 2025 (UTC)

meta.skywiki.org and other wikis are operational Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 23:23, April 30, 2025 (UTC)

Anyway if these things become a recurring problem, I can always try and find an alternate solution. I have a strong commitment to the wiki space in general and work hard to try and help others out. Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 12:17, May 1, 2025 (UTC)

Ok. Thank you. Sailor3992 (talk) 19:27, May 1, 2025 (UTC)

You're welcome :) Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 19:28, May 1, 2025 (UTC)

On super Mario wiki on Skywiki, I recently created the Luigi article as Sailor3933. Sailor3992 (talk) 21:20, May 1, 2025 (UTC)

Nice going! Eeyore the Iowan Goat (talk) 21:21, May 1, 2025 (UTC)
